March always starts off with a special day...

Ben and Emily's Birthday!!!

I made Rice Crispy Treats for them to take to Youth Group.

 We celebrated with their friends a week after their birthday, so more cake!

 

This is when Grandma and Grandpa finally came home from their annual trip out West. They'd been gone for a couple of months. Clara wrote them a special song and got a little sentimental while she was singing it for them. 💗

 The first snake of the year, a friendly garter snake. We first saw this guy sunning himself and just a while later, a second one was wrapped around my friends leg as we stood there chatting. I looked down and saw it and told her "There's a snake on your foot."  She started jumping all over the place and the snake escaped to a safer spot. 

Poor Daddio had Pneumonia and Sepsis and spent a couple nights at the hospital. We were so glad when he got to come back home!! 💓

I got a new CMA (Christian Motorcyclists Association) shirt from our Bikers for Change event.

Can I still call 5 year olds "Babies"?

The other day was Ben and Emily's birthday. I cannot believe that they are 5 years old already! We had a little party with my Mom and Dad. My friend had made a 7 layer jello cake for her daughter recently and it looked so cool that I decided to try one myself. It was beautiful! :) My babies are growing up...

Today is my Dad's Birthday. Here is a picture of him when he was an adorable little boy.

Today I made him his favorite cake, pineapple upside down cake. We had him and my Mom over tonight for cake and coffee.

Clara is 10 now!

Clara's birthday was on Sunday. She is 10 years old now! We had a birthday party for her at 4pm on Sunday. Her best friend, Sheyanne came over. Grandma and Grandpa came over along with Tricia and Bum (her husband), and Shawn and Tracy and their family. We had lots of food to eat. We had hotdogs, chili, potato salad, and doritos. She picked out a "Littlest Pet Shop" cake from Walmart. It was chocolate. After we ate and she blew out her candles, we played "Rock Band". That was fun. It's always fun especially watching people play that haven't played before. By 8:30pm, everyone had gone home. I think Clara had a good time. She got lots of neat presents too.
