September 2016

I've really wanted to journal here more on a regular basis, but just have not taken the time to do it. It's nice for the family and me to get to look back at this and see how we've changed and grown and remember fun things we've done.

In September, my Dad was working on a new kitchen floor. Jesse got to help pound a couple of nails in with Grampa.

Jesse even got to use his Thor hammer to help!

We went to the Tustin Daze parade over Labor Day weekend.

Jesse took his Captain America bucket to put parade candy in.

Jesse and Clara are sorting out the loot from the parade.

Jesse visited the dentist. He was a wonderful little patient and was excited to get a new toothbrush.

I'm not the biggest fan of the poultry, but our chickens and turkeys grew a lot over the summer. Here is the lone rooster of the bunch.

Tom Turkey!

We went to a friend's wedding in September. Here is Mom and Dad.

Mom and I at the wedding.

For my nephew's 18th Birthday, my parents put together this giant sundae for the family to enjoy!

Ben got his second bear in September! He got his first last year. Pretty lucky guy right there and a pretty good hunter to get such good shots.

My Mom, my sisters, and sis-in-law, and I all got to go away for a day together. We went to Lattitude 44 in Manton and spent some time in Cadillac. It was a beautiful day and although the time was short, we had a wonderful time!

Allison was on the President's List again this year! Tim and I got to escort her to a special lunch in honor of her and the other students making the list.

Here we are celebrating Tim's birthday. Emily wasn't really grumpy. She was just being silly and we didn't get another picture.

We grew a garden this year and it did pretty well. I tried to keep up with weeding and watering it. Ben and Jesse are showing off some of the corn we grew. It was delicious!
